Romeo Niyigena (B. 1999, Kigali Rwanda), is a multidisciplinary artist based in Kigali, Rwanda. He discovered his love for art at an early age back in elementary.

However, the artist's strong desire to further his education in an art school motivated him to continue studying to become a graphic designer. In 2016, he entered the Ecole des Arts de Nyundo and graduated in 2018. His mediums include oils and acrylics with a collage of newspapers on canvas.

Diversity in the world has been my biggest inspiration and with the help of the internet, I got to discover a lot of different cultures around the globe, especially in Africa. Every art piece he creates goes with a poetic expression and has a unique story or meaning behind it. He recently had his exhibition back in August 2022 titled “Glory To My Black Skin”.
