Seyi Ogar (B. 1999, Lagos, Nigeria) is a self-taught visual artist living and working in Lagos. Using various media, Seyi expresses feelings, experiences and his imagination on canvas, paper and other surfaces in a unique style through portraiture.

inspired by his environment and imagination, Seyi creates works that explore concepts of the state of mind of individuals in relation to their interaction with society. He also conveys concepts of identity, originality and vulnerability in his work. He aims to continuously evolve in his craft while exploring more concepts of human representation.

Seyi is a graduate of Babcock University with a BSc. in Computer Science. He participated in the ‘Two Brothers and one Lumbo’ group exhibition at the Kokopelli Gallery in Lagos, Nigeria.
